UGA Mandela Washington Fellowship 2019 Second Week Impression

By: Salim Youssouf

The second week was great both in terms of the academic courses and the site visits. In terms of the courses, I really appreciated the History of Organizational Development and Diversity in America as well as the exchange among fellows on how we deal with issues related to diversity and inclusion in our respective countries. The site visits in Atlanta was so informative and fun! We visited the Georgia State Capital and learned about how the State Government functions and its historical background. At the Civil and Human

Rights Center, we learned about the civil rights movement and the struggle for liberation of the minority. We also had a lot of fun when We visited the World of Coca Cola and the Georgia Aquarium! Yay! Can’t wait for the activities of next week!!
