The Power of Sharing

By: Benedith Chanie Marthe Marie Jacquy Kessany

Have you ever thought, like me, that the people we meet or who belong to our networks do not want to help us in our organizations, corporate commitments?

How many times have I thought that those around me see what I am doing?

How many times, have I been afraid to talk about my projects or I was so shy.

How many times, did I not dare raise my hand when there was a business opportunity, collaboration?

How many times have I been discouraged even before trying?

How many times have I waited to have all the pieces of the puzzle before talking about my project?

How many times did I miss the golden opportunity I had to talk about my project because I was afraid of people’s eyes?

The first week was very important for me because several platforms were offered to me to talk about my projects and actions to about fifty people including the fellows, Which allowed me to understand this:

  1. Do not assume that everyone knows what you are doing. Every minute should be an opportunity to talk about what you are doing or what you are offering because you do not know who can help you or connect you to another person

  2. Each action today produces a result tomorrow. Send thank-you emails to keep in touch with the people you meet.

  3. You must be motivated and determined to talk about the Vision of your organization or company to the people you meet because If it seems clear to you, it might not be clear to someone who is right by your side.

  4. You need to have your pitch and business cards. We never know.

  5. Do not wait to gather all the pieces of the puzzle to impact your environment, it is necessary to start with what you have and each day, with the kilometer extra necessary you will learn a new thing.

  6. Communicate around your actions to be visible to the greatest number.

Are you ready for the challenge?
