Since we arrived at the University of Georgia in Athens, we have been learning and enjoying so many things and one of them was the trip to Atlanta. During this trip, we visited great places and the one that I really appreciated the most was the time we spent at the Russell Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (RCIE) and learn about the Legacy left by the leadership of Herman J.Russell.
Herman J. Russell did so many things for his community and inspired me to do more for mine. I also learned during the team building we did on Friday, that in a team we need communication, taking account others opinions, and when someone is failing in doing something, instead of judging him we must show him the right way to do better next time, in order to build and achieve together common goals in our organizations.
Moreover, I did twice the community service with the campus kitchen project that was a new experience for me and I really enjoyed supporting it and the Campus volunteers to prepare meals for families in need. Knowing that in Africa, so many people are suffering from famine, the Campus kitchen can be an example to establish. I am looking forward to enjoying the coming week!
